‘The Montgolfier Balloon Gift Shoppe’ was formed in 1996 by Charlotte Kroepil & Philip Whittington and is based in the high desert city of Victorville, CA.

Charlotte has been in ballooning for last 10 years crewing, balloon event organizing and is the owner of Alpha Promotions and Unique Designs.


Philip Whittington has been in the commercial balloon business for the last 17 years, primarily working in Europe for one of the largest hot air balloon operators Flying Pictures, now based here in the US, designated designer for Cameron Balloons, based in Ann Arbor, MI and Alpha Promotions.

As well as providing balloon related gifts, our holding company, Alpha Promotions is able to supply a full range of promotional products for the balloonist from engraved or screen printed items to embroidery on many items of clothing and accessories, while Unique Designs can supply gift baskets for that special thank you, well done, or get well soon.
